How to Select the Right Missions Board (from BIMI)

1. Unity of Beliefs (This should be fairly obvious)
2. Unity of Distinctives (defined as denominational distinctives, etc.), such as: the authority of the Scriptures, Autonomy of the local church, priesthood of all believers, ordinances of church (baptism and Lord's supper), etc.
3. Unity of Intent (View on thrust of missions, unified goals, etc.)
4. Unity Concerning Financial Policy
5. Unity Concerning Administrative Services

6. Evaluation of the Board's Track Record

This looks pretty solid to me. Good advice from Baptist Internationl Missions, Inc.

Any additional thoughts?

Due to some unexpected issues, I will not be traveling to Ireland and Europe this summer. So, I'm looking into a trip to Europe in the spring, instead! Hoping to book some concerts (which, postponing a year will also help make happen!), and tour Europe. More later, when I know more. In the meantime, research is my life! :)

I'm currently looking into multiple missions boards, and working on gaining a better understanding of who God wants me to go with. Following with posts about how to select the right mission board, etc.
